Rev. Fred Tessmer
Pastor Fred grew up in Fredericksburg, Iowa. He has an associate degree in mortuary science from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor of science degree from the university of Iowa. Pastor Fred has worked as a licensed funeral director, served in the US Army for three years, worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Minnesota for five years. Pastor received his Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN in 1983, and has served congregations in western North Dakota, central Minnesota, West Union, Iowa and has served as St. Timothy’s pastor for seven years. Pastor Fred is committed to the authority of Scripture, the Lutheran Confessions, and the traditions of the Lutheran Church.
